US businesses are taking the lead in the new wave of investment into Vietnam
Mr. Loc said that up to 150 Vietnamese companies accompanied the President to the US and this was a message showing Vietnam’s desire to strengthen economic relations with the US. The visit is hoped will contribute to promote the investment wave of the US into Vietnam. That’s why the Vietnamese mission spent a lot of time meeting with American CEOs and groups.

Korea property firm to pitch Vietnam projects to investors

IndoChina Capital buys $160 mln stake in Vietnam property firm
Under a deal signed recently, IndoChina has bought 20 percent for $100 million in Hoang Quan Corporation, and another 20 percent for $60 million in Hoang Quan Mekong Consulting, Trading and Service Real Estate Co.

Vietnam among emerging stars to challenge booming economies
The paper highlighted that Vietnam's economic growth is close to rivaling that of China and India, with projected expansion of 8 percent a year for the next five years. Its stock market is up a spectacular 500 percent since 2003 and 95 percent over the past year.
